An official statement by the Syrian Armed Forces indicates that acts of aggression by Israeli Air Forces were intercepted on the outskirts of the Syrian capital Damascus. This latest bombing is part of the consistent bombing strikes conducted by Israel in the last two months, against Iranian targets.,
Elsewhere, Syrian state media did not give any details on what was hit during the Israeli bombings, however they did announced that most of the missiles fired were eliminated. Local witnesses said they heard multiple explosions in the southern part of the capital, where Iranian-backed militias are heavily present.
