Israeli and Moroccan foreign ministers discuss completion of remaining agreements

Foreign ministers of Israel and Morocco spoke on 2 February to discuss bilateral relations and remaining agreements of the normalization process.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi and his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita held talks on Tuesday, to talk about working together in implementing new agreements between the two countries. In addition, both diplomats also discussed the increase in bilateral relations and other regional developments, said Ashkenazi in a tweet.

The phone call between the ministers was conducted a week after the arrival of Israel’s temporary charges d’affaires to Morocco, David Govrin. In the same week, Israel held the inauguration of its embassy in the Moroccan capital Rabat.
