On Saturday, the UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed discussed bilateral strategic relations and ways of strengthening joint cooperation during a telephone call with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

The UAE’s state news agency reported that the two ministers also reviewed the latest regional and global developments.

The news agency stated that Sheikh Abdulla “affirmed the depth of UAE-US’s strategic ties and the continuous cooperation and coordination between the two countries for expanding prospects of joint cooperation in various fields.”

A similar call was held between Sheikh Abdullah and his British counterpart Liz Truss. During the meeting, the two discussed relations and reviewed a series of international issues of common interest.
