According to the nation’s press agency, Bahrain will hold parliamentary elections on November 12.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain announced the date of the elections for the 40-member Council of Representatives in a royal decree on Thursday.
Additionally, the decree said that, if necessary, the second round of voting would be held on November 19.
Applications from Bahraini individuals seeking to run in the forthcoming parliamentary elections will be accepted from October 5 through October 9, according to the statement.
