UAE made changes in the cabinet

Gargash and Nusseibeh are appointed as advisors, while two new ministers were substituted.

The Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum issued an announcement regarding a cabinet reshuffle on Wednesday. Based on this, two former ministers have been entrusted with advisor positions, and two new ministers have been appointed instead of them.

According to these appointments, Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan was appointed as the Minister of State for the UAE. Beforehand, he fulfilled the duty as the UAE’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar became the Minister of State. Prior to this post, he served as Ambassador of the UAE to Turkey, and as the Assistant Minister for Political Affairs at the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

On the other hand, Anwar Gargash will continue his service as a diplomatic advisor to the President of the State, and Zaki Nusseibeh as a cultural advisor to the President of the State, the statement added. Also, both were awarded by President Rashid Al Maktoum with the Union Medal for their services.
