The PKK terror group launched a rocket strike on a television station in Duhok, located in Iraq’s Kurdish Regional Government (KRG), on Tuesday.

The terror group launched rockets against a building owned by the Duhok Radio and Television Media Group, according to the Hani Press and Communication Center in Duhok, causing damage.

“This terrorist attack is condemned by us. The PKK must depart from the KRG. The PKK needs to understand that media centers are a sign of modernity. These insults and threats will not put pressure on anyone,” the statement said.

The Media Group is noted for its ties to Massoud Barzani’s Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP).

The PKK, which is recognized as a terrorist group by Turkiye, the US, and the EU, has killed over 40,000 people in its 35-year terror campaign against Turkey, including women, children, and babies.
