Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi discussed bilateral relations and regional issues in a phone call held on Saturday.
Erdogan told Raisi that the works are ongoing for the meeting of the High-Level Cooperation Council, which will be held in Tehran, as well as the agreements that can be signed, according to a statement by the Turkish Directorate of Communications.
The same statement says that Erdogan expressed Turkey’s intention to host the next meeting of the 3+3 format talks for the Caucasus, comprised of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia, alongside three neighboring states: Turkey, Russia, and Iran.
