Turkish Foreign Minister heads to Qatar

The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will pass to Qatar as part of his working visits.

On Wednesday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement that announced that Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Cavusoglu, is set to visit Qatar today. It is expected that Çavuşoğlu’s visit will last for two days. According to a statement, the Turkish FM will come together with Qatari officials to discuss the latest regional and international developments, including the general situation in Syria and the political process in the country.

Previously, the Turkish FM paid several visits to Turkic countries in Central Asia, including Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan, the statement added. This tour came after the invitation from the foreign ministers of these countries. Within the context of these visits, the ways to enhance bilateral and joint cooperation had been discussed.
