The announcement reads that, during the visit, Sullivan will meet Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and key government officials, “addressing the danger presented by Iran and to underscore the US commitment to Israel’s security.”

Another planned meeting will be conducted under the co-chairing of the fourth Strategic Consultative Group (SCG) with Sullivan’s Israeli counterpart Eyal Hulata.

Horne also added that Sullivan would meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank, with the intention of further “strengthening US-Palestinian relations and achieving peace and security for Palestinians and Israelis alike.”
