Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu met at NATO’s Foreign Ministers meeting held in Brussels on Wednesday.
The parties discussed the latest developments in Libya and Ukraine, as well as the possibilities of economic cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense industry.
Di Maio stated that they are making efforts to ensure stability and peace in Libya.
In addition, he emphasized that they support the United Nations (UN) mediations regarding solutions to the Libyan political crisis.
The foreign ministers of 30 countries attended the NATO meeting on Wednesday.
