According to state media, at least three people were killed in an attack in the central Israeli city of Elad.
Police have started a search operation to catch the culprits, public broadcaster KAN said.
The victims were injured by two men, one wielding an ax and another with a gun, at two different locations, local media reports suggested.
At least six victims are in serious condition, and the teams are at the scene treating the victims, according to a statement by Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency service.
