According to state news agency WAM, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed underlined his thanks and appreciation for Jordan’s position denouncing the terrorist attacks on the UAE and its support with the Emirates on Friday.

During a meeting with King Abdullah II, who was in the UAE capital for a visit, Sheikh Mohammed congratulated him and his wife, Queen Rania, on receiving the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity in recognition of their regional and international efforts and initiatives in support of peace and tolerance and coexistence.

According to Jordan’s Petra news agency, King Abdullah II is proud of the “deep, historical fraternal links that bind the two countries and their peoples.”

He went on to say that Jordan stands behind the UAE in the face of all challenges to its security and stability, expressing his condemnation of the Houthi attacks on the UAE and emphasizing that the security of the UAE and Jordan is inseparable.

The two sides reviewed bilateral relationship prospects and exchanged perspectives on regional and international issues.
